And on this, my first give away, I want to give away something I've made. Luckily for you though (especially considering some of my work), I'm giving away something I made at my job, not as a hobby.
I work for Mythic Entertainment and we just launched a new computer game, so I'm going to give away a copy of Warhammer Online, Age of Reckoning . I've been working on it for three years and am so excited and proud that it's doing so well.
The winner gets to pick a prize!
- Choice #1 - Free copy of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
- Choice #2 - Goody package of Warhammer Online stuff. This is random "loot" I've gotten at work. Some of the things I have to choose from are a coffee mug (more like a tankard), a coffee table book, playing cards, a graphic novel, posters.
What you need to do: Post a comment stating which prize option you want and what you'll do with it if you win. Easy!
Deadline: October 31st at midnight EST. I'll pick a winner the next morning (or really late Friday night if I'm not passed out in a sugar coma from swiping my kids' Halloween haul).

Definitely the grab bag I would like. I'm already an avid player of Warhammer Online.
As for what'd I'd do with the stuff? Well the mug I'd take to work, and the book I would give to my friend. He's a big tabletop Warhammer player with his own little crafting desk setup to color his pieces so I think he'd appreciate it more than I.

I'd like a copy of the game -- Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. What would I do with it? Play it, of course! ;)
I never managed to get a beta invite and there aren't any free trials (well, if I go down to the local cybercafe I can get a free trial, but after I sign up for their service and pay for my time on their computers I'll probably end up spending way more than I'd like to see what the game's like).
I'm a big fan of the Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War PC games -- I hope Warhammer Online has the same sense of thrusting you into the grand Warhammer Universe.
I have no idea whether I'd play as a Space Marine or an Orc -- they were both awesome races in the Dawn of War games.

Oh, Wow, I would love to win the Warhammer game! I went to Pax this year (I have a gaming review blog and went as a member of the media), and saw it demoed, and was very impressed, but we were unable to get a copy.
Not only that, but I have two kids, a 15 yo and a 13 yo who would definitely think I was the coolest Mom ever if I won this!
