Smug Bug

My baby is going through a "mom preference" phase. One thing that cracks me up about it is whenever someone hands him to me he immediately snaps his head around to look back at whoever just had him. He gets this look on his face as if to say, "Nyah nyah nyah!"

My mom made up the perfect term for that look: "Smug Bug."

Whenever it's bedtime and Troy's in the middle of something he asks Scout who she wants to tuck her in. It's always me. That's sweet and everything but I think the lazy sucka needs to do some story reading.

I don't know if my self-image could handle a daddy's girl though...mommies ftw!

How cute is he!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. I wanted to reply to your comments directly, but you don't have an email associated with your profile, so this will have to do!

My husband and I really loved playing Diablo II and World of Warcraft. Well, hubby still plays World of Warcraft, but I ended my subscription a few months back. I haven't decided if I'll try to play when the expansion comes out or not. But we're really looking forward to Diablo III! We started gaming shortly after we were married, and I was constantly watching him play the original Diablo. I finally got up the nerve to try it myself, and pretty soon after that we were borrowing his dad's computer and playing with each other over the phone line. It's been fun to share a hobby like that... but it's also frustrating because a lot of women don't get it. ;) Other games we've tried, but didn't really get into to the same degree, were Dungeon Siege and Neverwinter Nights.

I love that your little guy is an Alexander, too! We couldn't decide what we'd end up calling him, whether it would be his full name, Alex, or Xander. Alex stuck pretty quickly, but I very nearly did go with Xander! The kids like to call him "Alexy" (rhymes with Galaxy. Alexy-Galaxy... no, they don't have too much exposure to Mario Galaxy, do they?) ;)

Anyway, fun to meet you through the Carnival!! :) I'll come back when I get more time.
